Yesterday, my friends and I went to the Santa Cruz Mountains for some wine tasting, as a belated Birthday celebration for me. First, we had a BBQ at our place , then a few of us spent the rest of the afternoon wine tasting in the mountains and we ended our evening with a nice dinner in Saratoga. I had a great time and feel blessed to have such wonderful friends! Check out my pics from the party:

Next week Dave and I will be driving up to Oregon for his Grandma's 90th Birthday and again, I'll post pics and stories to document our journey.

Wow, I think this may have been the most life-changing week I've ever had! I reconciled with friends from my past, taken control of a difficult work situation, joined a health club & began a steady workout routine, and spent “true” quality time with family. There's something to be said about being in your late 30's. Finally, I'm starting to understand the meaning of life (kidding, of course).
Here are a few pics from my life-changing week (see more on my Flickr site on the left):

This weekend I'm celebrating my “birthday month” with friends, so (as usual) check back for more pics and/or stories of my wonderful life :)

Last Friday, Dave and I drove up to Calistoga for our friend's, Natalie and Paul's wedding. Because it was Friday and we chose to drive up Hwy. 101 through San Francisco, we were a little late, but we made it there nonetheless. Their wedding was held at the Hans Fahden Winery.
We had a such a great time and wish Paul and Natalie our best! My brother works for Beringer Wines and supplied all the wine for the ceremony and reception too.
Here are a few pics of me, Dave, Brian (my bro), Natalie and Paul:

It's a busy summer, so I'll update this weekly and catch ya'll up on my life (hehe)! Next week my mom is picking up my niece in Fairfied and driving down to visit and see our place for the first time, so I'm sure we'll be taking pics to upload. We also plan to see both Dave's mom and dad.
